Our U15s continued their unbeaten run and raced into the league final with a massive win over Castlebar on Saturday.
Ballina ran in 10 tries and conceded two as they played highly-effective rugby. Sam Callinan was top scorer with five tries to his name while Harry Regan, Daragh Walsh, Seamus Mason, Liam Golden and Patrick Morrin also crossed the whitewash.
Three tries were set up by well-timed passes from Ciaran Boland and there were seven steals at ruck time by Hedd Morgan.
One try was spectacular as Ballina moved the ball from our try line through seven rucks with all players touching the ball at least once until Regan touched down.
There were two conversions each from Iarla Quinn, David Feeney and Harry West while Cormac Jackson, Daniel Boland, Sean Murphy, Liam O'Connor and Mark Barrett caught the eye.
There was a fine display from Thomas Gibbons who lined out for his first game of rugby and performed very well.
The boys now play Corinthians in the league final on the 10th of February.
