As defending champions, Ballina head into the 2026/27 cup campaign looking to build on last
year’s success and make a strong start to their defence of the trophy.

The opening Cawley Cup fixture sees Ballina make the short trip to Westport for what should be a
great local cup encounter under the Saturday night lights.

With competitive action now underway, the players and management will be looking forward to
another big cup campaign. Ballina RFC Club President Richard West wished the players and management the very best for Saturday night and the campaign ahead, while encouraging supporters to get behind the team. We would encourage as many Ballina supporters as possible to make the trip to Westport and get behind the lads as they begin their Cawley Cup title defence.
