Our U13s pulled off a great win against a spirited Creggs team in their final league fixture of the season under lights last night.
It was our boys' first competitive fixture under lights and they performed excellently.
Tries arrived from Luke Feeney, Adam Forde, Luca Duggan, Daniel Conroy, Ronan Gallagher, Daragh Hopkins, Aaron McDonald, Niall Murphy, Orin Canavan in a truly excellent team performance.
The Ballina boys dominated with some strong rucking where lessons were taken from the Tuesday's training session.
When the starting team tired in the second half there were some strong performances off the bench from Zac O'Keefe, Daniel Feeney, Dylan Doherty and Liam Mohan who all strengthened the Moysiders as they head on to cup season.

Padraig Gavin controlled the backline throughout the game, benefiting from the experience of Luca Duggan in the centre. Their display was very much in the manner of George Ford and Owen Farrell (according to a man with a love for the lads with the red rose on their chests)
Midway through the second half, Creggs still fighting for every ball, despite being 30 points down, made a break down the left wing. Daniel Feeney and Conor Brown covered him and the latter, having listened to his Dad on Tuesday, brilliantly stole the ball through and set up Ronan Gallagher for a try.

Next up is Claremorris in a friendly tomorrow, Saturday and then Sligo in the first round of the cup. With the strength of this performance the future is bright, the future is green.
