THE U-11 boys, U-12 boys and the U-12 girls had a fantastic trip to Cardiff on the weekend of the 17th and 18th of April. A happy band of 172 players, coaches and parents left Ballina RFC in the early hours of Friday morning and arrived in Wales via Rosslare for paintballing.
On Saturday the touring party went to Barry RFC to play their Minis and it was a hugely enjoyable experience for all involved.
Huge thanks to Barry RFC for their generous hospitality and for giving us some challenging games of rugby.
After that the excitement continued when the Ballina group watched Scarlets host Cardiff in their famous home ground, Parc Y Scarlets.
The touring party returned to Ballina on the Sunday tired and happy.
Huge thanks to Barretts buses and to Rugby Tours Ireland for organising such a successful tour.
Lifelong memories created.
