Ballina 29-26 Creggs
CONGRATULATIONS to our U-17 Boys who defeated Creggs 29-26 in Heffernan Park today. However, the scoreline is just half the story.
With 25 minutes left to play, Creggs enjoyed a 19-3 lead and seemed to be on their way to a comfortable victory.
However, the Ballina boys had other ideas. They played some sparkling rugby and every young man in green stepped into the breach and they poured forward time after time.
The scores flowed and at the final whistle the home side were clear and deserving 29-26 winners.
Congratulations to the players and coaches on this very special victory - and a special word of recognition to our U-16 Boys who stepped up today and made a big difference on the day.
