TODAY is a hugely historic occasion for the club as Ailish Quinn is set to make her senior international debut for Ireland. The talented, dynamic forward has been named on the bench for Ireland's match against Scotland in Virgin Media Park in Cork and everyone in Ballina RFC send her our very best wishes.
Ailish has always been a wonderful ambassador for Ballina RFC over the years and has represented the club wonderfully as her talent came to the fore in the green of Ballina and in underage Connacht and Irish sides. Now she is about to play her first game of senior international rugby and we can hardly wait to see her on the pitch.
