There is great sadness over Heffernan Park today as we mark the passing of a woman who contributed so much to our club. Brenda Quinn passed away at the end of wonderful life and left a treasure-trove of memories in her wake.
We pride ourselves on being a family-based club and Brenda epitomised this perfectly. She was an integral part of a family whose dedication to the club knows no bounds. Brenda, her late husband Seamus and their family are synonymous with Ballina RFC and we are all in mourning today, remembering a wonderful woman.
Brenda, was predeceased by her husband Seamus, son Micheál and parents Denis and Eilish. Beloved mother of Donnachd, Oisín, Rory, Sinéad, Daragh and Neassa (London).

Sadly, missed by her sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Patricia, Noreen, Maria & Alison, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Lorcan Allen, sister, Margaret O’Byrne, sister-in-law Pauline, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Saturday evening from 4 until 7pm.

Funeral Cortege will arrive at St Muredach’s Cathedral Ballina on Sunday for Requiem Mass at 12:30pm followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
