Ailish and Clovers hoping to seal final place
BEST of luck to our own Ailish Quinn and her Clovers team in the semi-final of the Celtic Challenge in the Dexcom Stadium in Galway today.
Ailish will be in action at 12 noon when Clovers come up against Gwalia Lightning in the first game of a double-header which also features the second Irish team, Wolfhounds, against Brython Thunder at the same venue at 3pm.
Both sides will be hoping to come through today's contests to set up an all-Irish final at the Hive Stadium next weekend.
Ailish will line out in a very talented Clovers pack alongside team captain Ruth Campbell, Jemima Adams Verling and Alana McInerney.
A strong backline sees Emily Lane at scrum-half alongside Enya Breen. BÊibhinn Parsons is named on the left wing with Anna McGann on the right.
