Inspiring all our Girls

The progress of Ballina RFC Women's section continues with news that both Nina McVann and Katelyn Bourke have been selected for the Connacht U18 team. This is a great boost for the club and everyone is very proud of the two stars, their coaches Deirdre Whyte and Stephen Glacken and all involved.
Katelyn starred for our U16s all season and then made a seamless transition to U18 rugby. She performed so well that she is now on the provincial side with great adventures awaiting her in the future.

Nina is making her mark at both provincial and national level. Not only has she been selected for Connacht, she is also part of the Irish 7s system and enjoying every minute of it.

Both girls are a role-models for all the young players in the club and we would like to congratulate them for their efforts and wish them well in the coming weeks and months.
