The Mini section of Connacht Rugby will hold an important meeting in The Dalton Inn Claremorris at 7 pm (tomorrow) Wednesday the 25th of September. The branch is looking to fill the following posts and are encouraging interested parties to contact connachtminirugby@gmail.com

Girls Rugby Representative:
• Promote girl’s rugby and help grow the playing base for girls from U-6 to U-12
• First point of contact for girl's rugby clubs within the province & represent their interests at Connacht Mini's meetings
• Identify and work with coaches, administrators and other key stakeholders to help grow the girl’s mini game in Connacht.
• Develop and enhance the relationship for girl’s mini rugby between clubs and schools.

Competition & Fixtures Representative:
• Link with Competition Executive and Competition Committee
• Meet with various stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent
• Ensure that mini rugby blitzes are run on time and in a fair manner

Projects & Programs Representative
• Develop & implement new programs. For example; Spirit of rugby development and other on-field and off-field programs identified by the committee
• Once new programs identified, help drive program implementation
• Meet with various stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent
• Develop and enhance the relationship between Clubs and Schools.

Time Requirements • Attendance at all Mini Rugby Committee meetings (maximum monthly depending on requirements) and any ad-hoc meetings scheduled
Term • Term of Office is for a three-year period.
