Heffernan scores in exciting battle with England

One of our Red Letter Days.
David Heffernan has brought great honour to Ballina RFC in recent years and there were many proud hearts along the Moy on Sunday when one of our own graced the pitch at Twickenham as the Barbarians clashed with England.
David proudly wore the socks of his beloved home club and capped it all with a try after 67 minutes as the Barbarians remained competitive throughout in a 51-43 reversal.
This was a very special day for his family and all involved with Ballina RFC. David's family have been the heartbeat of our club for generations and Sunday's match in Twickenham was a new high for everyone involved.
Congratulations David and all involved.
