Congratulations from everyone in the club to our Senior Women who played their first competitive match in Westport yesterday.
They came up against a very experienced home team but our women showed tremendous grit, skill and determination throughout.
Many of our players have never played rugby before and two players had only a fortnight of training and learning the game under their belt.
Our last year's U17 girls were fantastic and all enjoyed the whole experience. The girls have bonded so well and are enjoying their rugby. So a huge congrats to Russell, Anthony and the girls on their first outing. It was a never-to-be-forgotten day.
We look forward to the rest of the season with great anticipation.
