The posts are going up on the new pitch.
After many weeks, months and even a few years of work, the fabulous new pitch in Heffernan Park is almost ready for matches.
This morning, chief engineers Chris O'Neill and Brendan 'Swanny' O'Hora were pictured on-site getting the posts into position.
Those posts will see many great moments in the coming years.

On such a special day for Ballina RFC, it's important to remember the selfless work and efforts of so many who made the magnificent new pitch possible. The development was most certainly a 'team-effort.'
