Ballina R.F.C. is on the crest of a wave in rugby terms having won The Connacht Junior Cup (2018 & 2016), The Connacht Junior League (2018 & 2017), The Cawley Cup (2018 & 2016) and just last month the All Ireland senior league qualifiers (2018). Next season we will play in the All-Ireland senior league.

Youth rugby is having success at all age grades with two boys capped for Ireland U19, one for Germany U17 and one girl for Ireland 7’s U19. Ballina man David Heffernan received his 100th cap for Connacht and an Ireland cap in 2017. Mini rugby membership is 250 strong following the success of our “rugby for schools programme”.

We are a community orientated club looking to improve our facilities for players and supporters and we would be delighted to see you and your team enjoying a great day out in support of Ballina R.F.C. “The home of rugby in the North West”.


