A big thanks to the Maughan family

The community ethos which runs strong through our club came to the fore in Crossmolina this week when the local Minis moved to new grounds in Knockglass.
The ground has been made available by Mairead Maughan and her family and everyone involved in the club would like to thank them for their generosity.
There has been great interest in the game in Crossmolina and surrounding areas since the Mini Rugby sessions began in Gortnor Abbey some weeks ago and all at Ballina RFC would like to thank the Board of Management at the school for their support.
The new venue at Knockglass is no stranger to rugby boots as it played host to Crossmolina's home games when the town had a strong junior team in the sixties.
Paddy Maughan (RIP) was a great supporter of rugby and all sports, and his sense of community and support for the youth has carried forward through the generations.

Everyone at Ballina RFC and Crossmolina Minis are very thankful for the support of the Maughan family.
