Ballina Rugby Club is celebrating this afternoon after three of our young men were part of the Connacht side who defeated Leinster 25-16 in a sizzling U18 inter-pro in Donnybrook. Brian Boland, Patrick Howley and Craig McCormick were central figures as the guests won an intriguing battle.
Brian lined out at tight-head prop, Patrick wore the number eight jersey and also scored a crucial try while Craig showed his great style and pace in the centre.
The Ballina contingent who were at the game are now on their way back to the west with broad smiles on their faces and dreams of great adventures fermenting in their happy thoughts.
