Preparations for Ballina's senior Women's rugby team continues apace and with that in mind, the club are holding an Introduction and Information event in the clubhouse on Wednesday night at 8pm.
Women's Rugby co-ordinator, Deirdre Whyte, says anyone interested in playing with the team should come to the gathering and she has issued an open invitation to all.
"We're asking players from near and far to come along and learn more about our plans. We know that there is great interest in what we're doing and Wednesday night's gathering is another step forward.
"We have interest from all across Mayo and Sligo and that's very exciting.
"I'd also like to issue an open invitation to all that players who have lined out here over the years for our Girls teams. They contributed hugely to the development of the game here in the club and now we're inviting them back again to be part of this hugely exciting project.
